I had audi 80 seat in a polo once, fitted inplace of scirocco seats, wider than the originals and so the handbrake was a bit 'tucked in'. Now I know tha scirocco seats fit a mk2 if you swap the lockout lever on the slider from one side to the other so I guess they will but dont quote me on that as the Audi 80 was a 1977 (estate! rarer than e-bay can supply.) and the polo was a '76.

They derive from the interior light circuit, which is triggered by the central locking pump on the RS80 Mk2, with an additional timing circuitry which powers them off after 1 minute, to reduce battery load. Interior lights are powered off after 5 minutes by the central locking pump itself. As for the lights, I had the body shop do that.

Audi 80 B3
Its a 1.6CL. Uses the same engine as the mk2 golf (pre 90 spec) CLs although with a DT engine code. Does anyone know how easy it would be to fit a larger motor from the same sort of age audi, for instance, was there an audi 80 with a 2.3 5 cylinder engine, or a quattro which uses the same engine mounts?
