This feels more like 100 layers of leather paint. In all seriousness, as you can see down below, yes the washing helps, but the natural discoloration throughout the jacket is present, and you can make out the textures within the leather itself. This adds character to the jacket. This adds quality.

Visually, these look like pretty good copies of the Lewis designs. A decidely "British" vibe, imo, as compared to, say, a Schott Perfecto.
